Chavez Turquoise Naja Pendant

$150.00

We love the simplicity of this handcrafted Naja! The Spanish used this crescent shape to adorn their horses as protection. They brought it to the Americas in the late 16th century. The Navajo people adopted the symbol and adorned their jewelry with the Naja, namely their Squash Blossom necklaces. This Naja was created by artisan Mary Chavez. Sterling silver. Navajo pearl necklace not included.

Size: Pendabt 2 inches tall
